A visit can take on many states through it's lifecycle.
This is the finite list of visit states on the dala.care platform:
Scheduled - Visit is planned in the future and has a caregiver assigned.
Open - Visit is scheduled but has no caregiver assigned
Active - A caregiver has started care for a scheduled visit
Completed - Visit end time has passed and caregiver has completed care.
Late start - Visit start time has passed but caregiver has not started care.
Late completion - Visit end time has passed but caregiver has not completed care.
Missed - Visit start and end time has passed without a caregiver starting care.
Canceled - Visit was canceled before start time.
We use color and labels to highlight visit states:
Scheduled and completed visits are Blue
Open visits are Yellow
Late and missed visits are Amber
