Activites

Updated over 3 months ago

We have expanded our Activities feature, and now more options are available, making the system more flexible for you to plan care for your care recipients. Now, it's possible to set up recurring activities, a one-off activity and an activity can also follow a visit series. Additionally, the possibilities for caregivers are greater. They can see all available activities in the app and, if they have extra time, perform an activity from the list and mark it complete.

Create activity

When creating an activity, you have two options:

  • Add new activity

  • Add from template

You can specify following details:

  • Title

  • Description

  • Type

  • Priority

When creating an activity, the Title and Description fields are mandatory, while the other fields are optional.

When adding an activity from a template, the Title and Type fields are locked and cannot be edited; however, all other fields are editable, allowing customization for each care recipient.

Recurrence Options

You can set the activity's recurrence using the following options:

  • One-off: This type of activity happens only once. If you specify both a date and time, the activity will only appear during visits scheduled at that exact time. If you select only a date, the activity will be available for any visit on that day until it is marked as complete.

  • Every Visit: The activity repeats at every scheduled visit. You'll choose a start date. You need to be careful when using this option as every new visit will have this activity assigned.

  • Interval: The activity repeats at a fixed interval (e.g., every X days). You can define the interval, start date, and time. These activities don't need to be assigned to a specific visit or series. If you choose a recurrence but don’t specify a time, the activity will appear under "Other Activities" in the app when they're not due. Althoug caregivers can marke them as complete during any visit. This type is best suited for activities that are nice to have and are ideally done every 3-5 days, for example.

  • Follow Visit Schedule: The activity aligns with one or more specific visit series, occurring whenever a visit in that series is scheduled. You'll need to select which visit series the activity should follow. Use this for activities that should only be performed based on a predefined schedule.

This setup provides flexibility in scheduling activities to meet various care needs.

On the Care Recipients page, you can view all activities along with details about their recurrence and priority. Additionally, you can identify any activities that are overdue, meaning that no caregiver has completed the corresponding task within the scheduled timeframe.

Editing activites in visit logs

After a visit has passed its scheduled time, you can edit the activities by navigating to the Visit Log. To access the Visit Log, go to the Calendar, select the specific visit, and click on Edit. From there, you can check or uncheck the activities as appropriate.

Activities in app

Activities in the app can be set to different recurrence types.

  • One-off activities appear only once, either at a specific date and time or on any visit that day until marked complete.

  • Every Visit activities are assigned to every scheduled visit starting from the selected date.

  • Interval activities repeat at a fixed interval (e.g., every X days) and, if no specific time is set, will appear on a visit if scheduled for that date or if overdue; otherwise, they will be listed under "Other Activities''.

  • Follow Visit Schedule activities align with specific visit series and occur whenever a visit in that series is scheduled.
